What the Press Art School can do for You By Percy V. Bradshaw (Founder and Principal of the Press Art School, which is shewn alongside). I am not going to try to tell you all about this School, its scope and its record—my Prospectus does that. I want you to see just how you can benefit from its teaching, if you are interested in Sketching. Perhaps you will say you would like to sketch—or you once tried to learn—but it meant a lot of drudgery with nothing much to show at the end of it all. I started this School 22 years ago because I knew that more people lose interest in Sketching through dull teaching than ever get beyond the A.B.C. of Drawing. And how many who do come through with a certain ability can produce the kind of work which is wanted? Successful Art is as much a matter of outlook as technique. My Postal Courses are successful because they are a real joy as well as instructive. Mr. Pupils are successful because they are enthusiastic. Because their ability—in fact all good Sketching—is not just a matter of hand and pencil. The spade work is done by the mind and eye before they start to get busy on paper.
