Selection is made on merit alone, and no payment is expected or accepted for inclusion of any artist's work. Every effort will be made to return in due course rejected MSS., and all photographs, etc., rejected or accepted; but in no circumstances can the Editor hold himself responsible for the safe custody or return of such material. Artists and others are urged to submit photographs in the first instance, rather than originals. These should be addressed to "The Editor." Stamps for return should always be sent, and the name and address of the sender must be clearly written on every MS., photograph, etc. All notes and articles should be typewritten. Contributions and specimens of work submitted by hand must be left for consideration for a day or two. The Editor and Editorial Staff CANNOT GIVE INTERVIEWS, except by appointment, for which some definite reason must be adduced. One of the chief organisers of that exhibition was Sir Paul Lambotte, Director-General of Beaux Arts in Brussels. Here in one volume is assembled the cream of the pictures exhibited, together with many others, representative of the great period of Netherlands Art. THE COMPLEAT ANGLER By Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton THIS reprint of the book with which the worthy Izaak has delighted generations of readers, is taken from John Major's edition, universally considered to be the best. An illustrator has been found whose art is wedded to the subject. Mr. E. Fitch Daglish, a naturalist of repute, has engraved sixteen beautiful illustrations on wood. There is, in addition to the ordinary edition given below, a De Luxe Edition of 50 copies with an extra engraving signed by the artist, obtainable only from booksellers. Both editions have batik sides, the ordinary having a canvas back and the De Luxe one of parchment.
