This Movement forms a subject of importance to all interested in, or dependent upon, the development of Art. G. K. CHESTERTON deals appreciatively with the artistic philosophy of ERIC GILL as propounded in the latter’s vigorous book, recently published by Messrs. Cassell & Walterson. This article is illustrated with subjects by Eric Gill taken from those made for the original essays from which the book is compiled, and which are not included in the latter. Mr. HAROLD CHILD surveys and illustrates the standing and work to date of the GREGYNOC PRESS. From AMERICA, Messrs. W. R. Storey and Walter Gutman treat respectively of DESIGNERS OF MODERN FURNITURE and the work of RAPHAEL SOYER. MALCOLM C. SALAMAN continues his survey of CURRENT FINE PRINTS, illustrated by 7 pages in Photogravure.
