ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS EXHIBITION OF BRITISH ART circa 1000-1860 JANUARY—MARCH, 1934 The Exhibition will open on January 6th, 1934, and will close early in March. DESIGNED on a similar scale to the recent Winter Exhibitions of Flemish, Dutch, Italian, Persian and French Art, the Royal Academy Winter Exhibition of 1934 gives a comprehensive view of British Art from the tenth to the nineteenth century. It consists of paintings in oil and water-colour, drawings, sculpture, embroideries, tapestries, furniture, silver and other examples of fine craftsmanship. HOURS AND CHARGES: Hours: 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 p.m.) Admission: All weekdays except Fridays, 1s. 6d. Fridays, 2s. 6d. SEASON TICKETS: Season Tickets, if applied for before the opening of the Exhibition on January 6th, at the reduced price of 10s. 6d. each. As from the opening day the price will be £1 1s. Principals of Schools of Art can obtain Season Tickets for Teachers and Art Students on their registers at the special rate of 5s. Season Tickets will admit on all weekdays, including Fridays. SPECIALLY REDUCED DAILY ADMISSIONS. (Not available on Fridays.)
